The hot weather is set to arrive in Spain later this month, with temperatures well above 30C expected by the end of May. New weather maps from WXCharts have revealed that almost the entire the Iberian peninsula is due to face temperatures of between 27C and 35C on May 29.
The most scorching weather will mainly affect the central and southwestern regions of the country, with temperatures of 32C to 34C expected on the coast near Cadiz and Huelva. The capital, Madrid, is also expected to reach temperatures of around 32C. However, temperatures will reach their peak in Seville, the city crowned the hottest city in Europe. These temperatures have arrived early this year, however, as temperatures do not often reach such highs before July.
